The Brightcide Mission
Remove synthetic pesticides from the equation. For every family.
Best-in-class minimum-risk products, with science and safety as our guides, backed by a fight for better law. This is not a product line. It's a correction.
The Broken Bargain
Protection shouldn't come with a warning label for the people being protected.
For generations, keeping pests away from your family has meant surrounding your family with synthetic pesticides, products whose own labels tell you to keep children and pets off the grass, wash exposed skin, and stay out of the yard until the chemicals dry. The industry called that normal. We call it the broken bargain.
It persists for one reason: families were told safer doesn't work. That the only real protection is the harsh kind. That gentle means weak.
And there's a quieter half of the bargain: protection that only works if you keep working, spray days to remember, service visits to schedule, awkward phone calls to make. So Brightcide pursues a merger nobody had tried, world-class formulations that actually work, paired with application that makes life easier. Either half alone is a burden. Together, protection feels effortless.
Brightcide exists to prove the opposite, and then to make the opposite the standard.
The Brightcide Standard
Minimum-risk. Maximum standard.
"EPA 25(b) minimum-risk" is a real federal designation, a short list of active ingredients with such strong safety profiles that they're recognized as minimum-risk to people, pets, and the environment. It's the hardest lane to build in, because you can't hide weak formulation behind harsh chemistry. It's the only lane we'll build in.
Minimum-risk actives only
Our formulas are built on the EPA's 25(b) minimum-risk framework, actives like soybean, garlic, peppermint, cinnamon, rosemary, and thyme oil with long histories of safe use around people and pets.
No synthetic pyrethroids. Ever.
The most common synthetic yard chemicals never touch a Brightcide bottle. No signal-word warnings, no re-entry waiting periods, no fenced-off lawns.
Proof over promises
Every ingredient is on the label and every active is GRAS, because 'natural' without transparency is just marketing.
Safer can't be a luxury
A $39.99 bottle, a $24.99 barrier, an automated system that beats the price of a spray service. Safer for everyone means priced for everyone.
Beyond the Bottle
Change the market. Then change the rules.
Products change homes. Policy changes everything. Brightcide is pursuing the legislative and industry work it takes to make minimum-risk the default - not the alternative.
Raise the disclosure bar
Families deserve to know exactly what's applied where they live and play. We support clear labeling and application-disclosure standards for residential and commercial pest control.
Minimum-risk first in public spaces
Schools, parks, and playgrounds should default to minimum-risk products wherever they can do the job. We advocate procurement standards that put 25(b) first.
Elevate the 25(b) category
Minimum-risk deserves a real seat at the table, investment in efficacy research, honest category standards, and recognition in state and federal pest-management policy.
Prove it, then scale it
We fund and publish efficacy testing because the fastest way to change the law is to remove every excuse: safer products that demonstrably work.
